    LIFE

    Tuesday, November 20, 2007, 09:37 AM [General]

Things have been crazy crazy crazy in the life of Lissa lately. ooo say that three times fast...

Life of Lissa lately, Life of Lissa lately, Life of Lissa lately.

I would love to ramble on and on about it, but I can't. a) Because there isn't time enough on earth to unload everything on my mind right now. b) you probably don't care anyway. and c) I have enemies in this vast interweb, who stalk my various blogs to gain intel. (I swear I'm not a conspiracy theorist!)

Introduction To My Newest Totem Spirit

    Saturday, November 3, 2007, 11:08 PM [General]

    My Warior, The Jaguar
    Jaguar
    Once you wake the Jaguar
She will hunt you until she eats you
    There is no other outcome

Keywords for the Jaguar totem are: Patience, Power of Mystery, Silence, Integrity, Balancing, Vengence & Revenge, Sensuality, Clarity from chaos, Self-actualization, Shamanism, Secrecy, Psychic Vision, Intuition, Solitary, and Shapeshifting.

I have only just met my Jaguar. My warior. I never knew her, until recently. She was there, on her high branches, silently watching, learning, waiting. How it is time to hunt, and defend. This animal actually fits very well as my warior, because as a whole, she is not. The Jaguar only fights out of need, when it is absolutely necessary. The Jaguar's strike may not be the one to begin the battle. But it WILL be the one to finish it.

Where the Jaguar found hearts blackened with hatred, greed or dishonesty, he would haunt those unfortunate souls, relentlessly stalking them until they embraced the wisdom of integrity and transformed their lives. Those who resisted, were met with the vengeance of the Jaguar.

People with a Jaguar totem have the ability to do a variety of tasks at the same time. They tend to be loners, very comfortable with themselves and are often drawn to other solitary people.

These people can develop clairaudience, the ability to hear communications from other forms of life or dimensions. They should trust their thoughts and inner visions as they are based in reality.

The Jaguar does not roar like a lion. Instead, it grows, snarls and makes deep grunts. Those with this totem have command of language. Their words can cut, tear and shred others apart.

Because these souls possess the gift to see to the motives of another, the "future" consequences of that individual`s motives and actions are clearly visible to this individual, and they can appear almost prophetic when warning another of the ramifications that may befall should their current motives remain ulterior, selfish, or evasive.

Yet the greatest lesson for the Jaguar soul, may often come in the guise of conflicting desires within their own Self. As a highly sensual individual, these are souls who are enthralled with the beauty and diversity of life, from the brilliant colors, patterns and hues of a sunset, to the aroma of a rose in bloom, to the physical attractiveness of a potential mate. This high degree of sensuality can create deeply felt stimuli that can at times be in contradiction to the best interest of the soul’s growth and can serve as temptation to divert the Jaguar from his/her soul’s path.

The Jaguar Soul’s life will be lead from a standpoint of a moral belief system that is structured to remind the human counterpart of the necessity of operating from truth, valor, honor and respect for the All.

In other words. The claws are out now. My Jaguar will sleep again, when the wrongs have been righted, and the black heart is either forever transformed, or eaten.

    And Then Comes Disappointment

    Friday, November 2, 2007, 12:55 AM [General]

I spoke with his mother today. Just as I suspected, it was all a lie. Just a ploy to get me on the phone, another stab to my heart, just because he could. And I fell for it, Because I wanted her back so bad.I would post the email I sent him, but I think the FCC would have me shot.

I am still a bit down though, about Vicious. I have lost too many dogs to that jerk. One moving in with him, one he wouldn't allow me to take in when my grandmother passed, and one when I left. It is enough to make me never want another puppy again, for fear he will drop down from the ceiling one day, and steal that one too.

    xoxo

I know that not everyone who grows up with it becomes violent. I grew up with it as well, and I have never abused anyone. Like you, it just seemed to strengthen my conviction not to be like him.

With my son, I believe that his autism has a large part in why he behaves as he does. His emotional/social age is about 9 - the age when I finally got out of the marriage. He has huge problems realizing that other people have feelings. This seems to be an intrinsic part of his autism or at least the way it affects him. Were he not autistic, perhaps he would be more able to deal with things the way we have been able to. Of course, having a father that is telling him that the abuse never happened doesn't help. He's almost got him convinced even though he witnessed much of it.

"With the right guidance, love, and shows of compassion. Even the most abused, can become an uplifting soul." I totally agree!
    Thanks again!
